Fragonard Garden is a 2 storey, freehold terrace development located near the town of Balik Pulau, Penang. The property which was completed in 2014, was developed by VST Group of Companies. The whole project itself only consists of 68 units, of which 54 are intermediate units and 14 are corner units. The homes at Fragonard itself is pretty modern and the built-up area ranges between 1,780 sf up to 1,953 sf, where each unit will house 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The car porch can fit 2 cars comfortably and there is plenty of space outside should that be insufficient. The living room is also quite spacious where there is even 2 separate kitchens for dry and wet use. Located along Jalan Sungai Rusa, there are a number of clinics, banks, cafes, and restaurants which can be found in the shop lots nearby. More amenities can be found by heading over to the more populated, Bandar Baru Air Putih, Bagan Ayer Itam, and the town of Balik Pulau itself. There is also an upcoming school, the Prince of Wales Island International School within the vicinity of the neighbourhood and is within distance to several educational institutions closer to the town of Balik Pulau, such as SMK Saint George M, and Sekolah Kebangsaan Seri Balik Pulau. Fragonard Garden is also easily accessible as it is located right next to the main road of Jalan Sungai Rusa, which will be the main path taken when commuting to and from the neighbourhood. Traffic is also moderate but can be a little heavy during peak hours. Overall, Fragonard Garden is a decent property. Truthfully it is a little far from Georgetown for city-goers as the area is located on the west side of the island. The homes are a more suitable choice as an actual home to own and stay for those working in or near Balik Pulau, though it is debatable on whether it is a good investment choice. Despite of its location away from the hustle and bustle of the city, residents here will still be able to enjoy a relaxing and quiet living environment after a long day of work.
