Sri Bukit Indah is a residential neighbourhood located at the foot of green hills in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. The residences of Sri Bukit Indah come in a variety of terraces, semi-detacheds, and bungalows, all double-storey in height. Being a rather upmarket neighbourhood, many of the Sri Bukit Indah homes have been designed with the luxury of large land areas and spacious built-ups. Most of the homes have manicured lawns and simple landscaping, complementing the natural terrain of the surrounding greenery. Though Sri Bukit Indah was not originally gated and guarded, safety features of the neighbourhood has been upgraded by residents themselves, providing 24-hour security services. Sri Bukit Indah residents will have to take a short drive down hill in order to reach amenities. At the end of Jalan Indah where the neighbourhood is located, a commercial lot housing eateries, a pharmacy, bank, and veterinary clinic can be found. More conveniences can be found down Jalan Kulim, where there are countless more restaurants, banks, clinics and more while SMK Bukit Mertajam and SK Kampung Baru are also in the area. To add, the BM Country Club is also nearby the neighbourhood. Accessibility to and from Sri Bukit Indah to other parts of Bukit Mertajam and the mainland is enabled through Jalan Kulim, which is the main road closest to the development. It leads straight to the town centre of Bukit Mertajam. Other major roads nearby include Jalan Rozhan, Jalan Permatang Tinggi, and Jalan Song Ban Keng. To access the North-South Expressway (NSE) from the neighbourhood, residents will have to go through Jalan Song Ban Keng and continue to Jalan Baru before heading up to Seberang Perai. The journey to reach the NSE as well as the first Penang bridge will take over 20 minutes’ drive.
