In terms of accessibility, Jalan Tanjung Bungah connects Bandar Baru Air Putih to the town of Balik Pulau, where other amenities like mini markets and eateries can be found. Bayan Lepas is about 20 minutes’ drive away while Air Itam and Georgetown are a little over 30 minutes’ journey from the township.

Bandar Baru Air Itam would be a nice place to settle down and raise a family or retire to, given its surrounding greenery and serenity away from the city. However, it is best to note that the journey to Bayan Lepas and the city centre is quite a distance. Hence, living in the township may only appeal to those who do not mind the drive, especially if it has to be done on a daily basis. But if one does not mind, the homes at Bandar Baru Air Itam are indeed a comfortable and spacious escape to go home to.
