Bandar Puteri Klang is a matured mixed residential area in Klang and is neighbour to several exclusive areas such as Bandar Botanik and Bandar Bestari. Safety is however seems to be an issue in this area, as in 2013, there was a case of a shop being robbed whereby the video of it became viral. It was also purported that since 2012, the police station in Bandar Puteri Klang has been closed.
