Taman Desaru Utama is a township development located in Johor, consisting mainly of landed residential units, along with shop offices, shopping mall, hotel, college and schools. Its residential component consists of terrace, semi-detached and bungalow homes. The township is rather self-sustaining, and is blessed with extra support from its neighbours.
There are two main facilities for residents of Taman Desaru Utama to enjoy. One of which is the clubhouse that is located at the centre of the town. Within the clubhouse, tenants will be able to make use of the swimming and wading pools provided. Sports junkies will be able to find a futsal court, a tennis court, as well as a gym. Other facilities within the clubhouse include a games room and a sauna. Other amenities nearby include the Desaru Utama Hill Park, a hill located close to a few of the newer phases of homes in the development.
Whilst there are commercial lots in the township, tenants can also go to Bandar Penawar for its amenities. In terms of education, there is the Bandar Penawar Sports School located just outside of town, as well as the Bandar Penawar Community College and Kolej Profesional MARA Bandar Penawar that is within a short drive. Within the Bandar Penawar township, tenants will be able to find banks, restaurants, a post office, Stadium Penawar, a public park, and more. The coast is also nearby, where residents can go and have fun at the beaches.
Taman Desaru Utama can be easily accessed via the Jalan Kota Tinggi-Penawar federal route, which branches off to the Senai-Desaru Highway. Via the highway, tenants will also be able to access other areas of Johor, especially the Johor Bahru city centre.
