Emerald Hills is an upcoming development, spearheaded by Guocoland (Malaysia) Berhad. The project will see condominium and terrace units within the enclosed community. Located in Alam Damai, it will consist of 4 condo towers and 2 to 3 storeys terrace units.
Tower A of the condominium will have 3 different layouts, Type A, B and C. Type A is the largest unit, sized at 1,125 sf, it will consist of 3 bedrooms, a study area, and 2 bathrooms. Type B has a built-up of 860 sf, with 2 bedrooms, a study area and 2 bathrooms within its unit. Type C is the smallest unit at 805 sf, comprising 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The units in the condominium go at a price from RM500,000 onwards. For the terrace units, its built-up is approximately 1,650 sf, varying between the 2- and 3-storey layouts. The landed units are set at a price of RM1,200,000 and above.
The development will see different sets of facilities, accommodating to the categories of property within Emerald Hills. The condominium will have a podium deck, with facilities surrounding it. As for the area as a whole, there is a hub in which its facilities can be used by all residents. In the centre of the project, there is a lake and a jogging track that runs along its banks. A 50m infinity lap pool and wading pool will also be placed nearby. Other than that, there is a clubhouse and barbecue areas where social gatherings can take place. The children’s playground and a basketball court is located at the front of the residence, where the guardhouse of the gated community is built.
Nestled in Alam Damai, the Emerald Hills will be close to the border of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, as well as other townships within the Cheras district, so there is a never-ending source of amenities. Near the development, there is a commercial hub that houses mini marts, offices, workshops and restaurants. Taman Alam Damai is also located nearby, where tenants will be able to enjoy some recreational activities. It is also close to Taman Connaught and Bandar Tun Razak, where residents will be able to find the iconic Taman Connaught night market, USCI University, ICON Mall, and the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Hospital (HUKM).
The East-West Link Expressway provides easy access to Emerald Hills, via the Jalan Alam Damai route. Cheras is notoriously known for its traffic situations, but that burden will soon be lightened, with the introduction of the Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (SUKE). There are also Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) stations in Taman Len Seng and Taman Connaught which can be used as an alternative to driving.
