Garden Homes is a 35-acre residential development in Seksyen 15, Bandar Baru Bangi, consisting of 397 units of landed homes. Buyers can choose between three types of houses – the 2-storey, 20’ by 65’ Aldina terrace houses, 2-storey, 22’ by 75’ Acasia terrace houses, and the 2-storey, 44’ by 65’ link Astana link bungalows.
All the houses are built on a parcel of 24-hour gated and guarded leasehold land. Within the development, there are not many facilities – just a playground and a surau. Nevertheless, next to it there is the MPKJ stadium and sports complex, as well as the Bangi Gateway Mall, with shops like a Watsons pharmacy and a Jaya Grocer store for groceries.
Within Seksyen 15, there is also a commercial centre with several eateries and sporting activity outlets, and governmental buildings like the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Malaysia, the Institut Latihan Kehakiman dan Perundangan Malaysia, a training centre for judges, as well as the Mahkamah Seksyen Bandar Baru Bangi.
In Seksyen 3, the neighbourhood adjacent to Garden Homes, more shops are available including a 99 Speedmart, pharmacy, pizza place, cafes, local eateries and a clinic.
Students can attend one of the national schools around, such as SK Bandar Baru Bangi and SMK Jalan Tiga, or higher education institutions like Kolej Poly-Tech MARA Bangi, Akademi Percukaian Malaysia, Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysia France Institute (UniKLMFI), one of UniKL’s branch campuses offering diplomas, degrees and short courses, and of course, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), about 3.5km away from the development.
The Bandar Baru Bangi town centre is located about 6km from the development, with a wide range of amenities. For residents who like playing golf, they can enjoy a 27-hole golf course at the Bangi Golf Resort and the 18-hole Danau Golf Club near UKM.
Overall, people working in Kajang, Bangi, Serdang and Putrajaya will find the location of Garden Homes quite convenient indeed. The exit to the North-South Expressway (NSE) leading to other parts of Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and other parts of western Peninsular Malaysia is just a 5-minute drive away. Seksyen 15 is also bordered by main roads like Jalan Bangi, Persiaran Pekeliling and Persiaran Universiti, which coincide with several bus routes, an advantage for those who do not drive.
