Main roads, namely Jalan Permatang Damar Laut, Jalan Tun Dr Awang, Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, Jalan Dato Ismail Hashim and the Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu Expressway also connect the area to other parts of the island.
