Prangin Mall is a well-known commercial outlet located in the Georgetown city centre of Penang. The mall is located just beside Komtar tower and has been open to the public since 2001. The single-block shopping centre comprises 6 storeys of retail outlets and several levels of parking areas (2 basement, 3 upper floors).

Outlets at Prangin Mall are mostly those of the affordable range, catering to a wide population of the lower to middle group. The anchor tenant of the mall is a Parkson Grand departmental store, which had taken over the dwindling Super Department Store that used to be in its place. There is also a range of other main tenants, including a Popular bookstore, Giant supermarket, and a Cathay Cineplex. Food and beverage outlets can also be found in a good variety of big chains like Starbucks and Sushi King, as well as fast food outlets like McDonalds.

Most of the leasehold units at Prangin Mall are at least 343 sf in built-up space, with prices on the market beginning from RM220,000. Rental is about RM1,300 per month, differing based on the size and which level the units are located.

Prangin Mall is centrally located within Georgetown, with a good network of roads leading to and from the mall. Major roads within the vicinities of the property are Jalan Magazine, Jalan Penang, Lebuh Carnarvon, Jalan Burma, Jalan Macalister and Jalan Dato Keramat. Pengkalan Weld and the Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu Expressway are also just a minute’s drive from the mall.
