Residensi Pandanmas is a low-cost apartment in Kampung Pandan, Kuala Lumpur. Part of the Federal Territories Affordable Housing (RUMAWIP) initiative, the apartment has 2 towers that house 700 apartment units.
The units in the apartment have two different layouts, Type A and Type B. Type A is the largest unit of the two, with a built-up of 900 sf. There are 612 Type A units built. Type B, on the other hand, is a slightly smaller unit, at 850 sf, and has 88 units. Both the layouts have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Prices for Type A and Type B units are RM300,000 and RM280,000 respectively. The price and size will entice the likes of first home buyers, young working adults, as well as newly-weds.
Residensi Pandanmas, despite it's low-cost nature, has a set of facilities that will be able to cater to most of the needs of its tenants. The apartment comes with a swimming pool, and a children’s playground. A gym is also included as part of the apartment’s facilities. There is also a nursery and a kindergarten to help save the trouble for parents to look for one outside.
It’s location in Kampung Pandan gives the residents access to a number of facilities, especially within the Ampang and Cheras area. Desa Pandan is a short drive away, where many amenities ranging from restaurants, banks, workshops and convenience stores are located. Also a stone’s throw away is Tesco Ampang, and a commercial hub that consists of offices, mini marts and banks. It is also close to Maluri, where tenants can find more amenities, and is only a short drive away from Sunway Velocity Mall, Ikea Cheras, and MyTown.
There is also a number of schools within close proxomity of the apartment. Just outside the apartment complex is Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) Kampung Pandan, and Sekolah Rendah Agama Al-Suyuti. Other schools that are just a drive away are Sekolah Kebangsaan Pandan Jaya, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Pandan Jaya and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Aminuddin Baki.
Residensi Pandanmas has access to a number of major highways within Kuala Lumpur. The closest highways to the apartment are the Kuala Lumpur Second Middle Ring Road (MRR2), the Besraya Highway and the Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH). Other highways such as the Maju Expressway (MEX), the Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Highway, and the SMART Tunnel are also easily accessible.
