Rica Residence is the new development in the upcoming neighbourhood of Bukit Jalil where new property projects are popping up like mushrooms after rain in lieu of the upcoming Pavilion 2 and second Paradigm Mall by WCT. Rica Residence is highly anticipated for the prime location it touts being situated in the heart of Bukit Jalil, with easy proximity to all amenities. It will consist of a low density, medium cost residential development, with an additional block of affordable homes under the Rumawip plan.

Registration for the Rumawip portion of Rica Residence began on 8th January 2016 and was to end on 7th March 2016 with a completion date of 31st July 2019. There will be only 204 units for these affordable homes, with a minimum selling price of RM300,000 for 800 sf with one complementary parking lot to every unit.

Coming with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, these affordable homes were designed for city dwellers who desire a home in the city but cannot afford the inflated prices. Amongst some of the conditions attached to buying one of these homes is that they cannot be sold or rented out for a period of 10 years.

For those who see the potential of Rica Residence’s location and desire to make an investment out of it, the other two blocks are for sale to the public at more than double the price of the Rumawip homes. These homes are priced from RM600,000 onwards but come with far larger units ranging between 1,200 sf and 2,080 sf. These homes will have between two and four bedrooms, with less than 500 units spread out over two blocks of 33 storeys. Every unit will also come with a balcony and either two or three parking lots.

Rica Residence will be located a stone’s throw from the neighbourhood’s Giant hypermarket just off the Bukit Jalil Highway. The upcoming landscape and lifestyle changing Pavilion 2 is located just down the road within minutes of Rica Residence, as is the second Paradigm Mall by WCT. Residents will also enjoy easy accessibility to the Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS) and the new nearby LRT 2 station.
