The popular Queensbay Mall is also just 15 about minutes away, while the Bayan Bay commercial hub is also there, offering amenities like banks, restaurants, clinics and more. There is also a Giant hypermarket in nearby Bayan Baru.

Located along Jalan Tun Dr. Awang, South Homes is accessible to Bayan Baru just up the road and Bayan Lepas down south. Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah is also directly linked to the road, enabling access to Bayan Lepas, Batu Maung and the second Penang bridge via Jalan Permatang Damar Laut, as well as other towns like Gelugor, Jelutong, the first Penang bridge further up north.
