Taman Sintar Indah is an integrated neighbourhood of commercial shop lots and landed residences located in Nibong Tebal, Penang. It appears to be have been around for quite a number of years, judging from the appearance of the properties within. Though much of the homes are occupied, there are some which have remained empty, and have become run-down after time.
Landed homes at Taman Sintar Indah comprise of terraces, semi-detacheds and bungalows. The terraces come in a good variety, with some single-storey ones as well as double-storey types. The semi-detacheds only come in double-storey with ample land space while the 2-storey bungalows offer even larger land areas. The commercial lots on the other hand, are made up of double-storey shop offices.
Units at Taman Sintar Indah begin from built-up sizes of 1,200 sf, with selling prices from RM130,000 onwards. Units available for rent are the larger double-storey homes and commercial units, thus renters can expect rental rates of about RM1,200 and above.
The commercial lots of Taman Sintar Indah though are just nearby, do not provide all the basic amenities residents may need. Though there is an eatery there, most of the lots are taken up by industrial businesses.
As such, residents of Taman Sintar Indah will have to drive out to the main road of Jalan Bagan Serai-Parit Buntar, just beyond the neighbourhood to reach amenities. There are commercial lots housing banks, convenience stores, cafes, eateries, banks, and more while there are also several petrol stations and the Nibong Tebal police station along the road. Schools around the town of Nibong Tebal, within the vicinities of Taman Sintar Indah include SMK Jawi, SK Methodist, SK Seri Sentosa, SMK Seri Nibong, and SJK (C) Pai Teik to name a few.
Accessibility wise, Jalan Bagan Serai-Parit Buntar is the main route which connects Taman Sintar Indah to other areas of Nibong Tebal. To add, the neighbourhood is also located just off the North-South Expressway (NSE), where the Jawi toll plaza is just under 5 minutes away. The second Penang bridge will be approximately 20 minutes’ journey from the development via the NSE.
