Taman Sri Andalas is a neighbourhood in Klang surrounded by other neighbourhoods like Bayu Perdana, Taman Palm Grove and Taman Desa Utama. Being a matured and rather large township, it is self-sufficient with plenty of amenities and conveniences. However, Taman Sri Andalas has had a series of crimes committed, whether it was at night or during broad daylight. Residents have reason to fear for their safety after a series of car break-ins, snatch theft and robberies surfaced.
In 2012, two gunmen on a motorcycle had fired several shots at a lorry driver's house and empty bullet casings were found on his front porch. In that same year, there was a murder in the neighbourhood which resulted in the death of an Indian girl. The police and authorities have come together to set up major operations to weed out the bad hats in Taman Sri Andalas to protect the residents and restore peace to the neighbourhood.
