Taman Sri Putra is a residential area located in Banting and is surrounded by trees and lush greenery. Despite it being seen as an older development, many still consider the terrace homes as affordable even if the prices per home have been steadily increasing since 2008. Basic amenities and facilities are provided within the area, mostly consisting of shop lots and restaurants.
There have however been constant complaints from the residents of Taman Sri Putra about the condition of the roads. Many residents have pointed out that the roads are uneven and is a hazard to motorists. There were also talks of a new highway to be built, but there has been no updates as of 2014.
