There is also a good number of schools in the vicinities and the Ipoh city centre, which is welcome news for home buyers with school-going children. These include SMK Seri Ampang, SMK Gunung Rapat, and Ave Maria School among others.

The arterial road of Jalan Raja Dr. Nazrin Shah is also the main route which leads to the Ipoh city centre, about 8km up north. In the other direction along the road is the town of Simpang Pulai, as well as access to the North-South Expressway (NSE). The NSE can also be an alternative route to the northern parts of Ipoh, such as Bercham, and other Perak towns and cities like Kuala Kangsar.
