The challenge of finding reasonably priced homes located within short driving distance of the city is easier with options such as The Hipster. Sensibly priced homes, as a rule, tend to occur on the edges of suburbs – The Hipster is one notable exception with a Kuala Lumpur postcode.

Situated within a 10-kilometre drive to KLCC in the city centre and 7 kilometres to Mid Valley City, The Hipster is another high-rise residential development in Aset Kayamas Group’s “The H” collection, which includes The Hamilton, The Havre, The Henge, The Holmes, The Haute, The Hermington, The Herz, and The Harmony.

Comprising two towers joined by a deck on the 10th floor, with expected facilities such as a swimming pool and a gym, The Hipster is home to a total of 900 condominium units.

The majority of units (Type B layouts) provide the standard of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in a space measuring 921 sf per unit. With the price at launch at around RM380,000, the starting price psf works out to around RM412 psf.

A limited number out of the 900 units are double-sized at 1,842 sf (Type C layouts) to include a utility closet, master bedroom, and master bathroom for a more spacious configuration.

Located off tree-lined Jalan Desa, between Taman Desa Waterpark and the upscale Armada Villa development, The Hipster is near convenient exits leading onto historic Jalan Klang Lama and Jalan Sungai Besi, as well as expressways such as the Federal Highway, the New Pantai Expressway (NPE), the East-West Link Expressway (SALAK), and the Maju Expressway (MEX).

Taman Desa is a mature neighbourhood with well-established and highly visited commercial zones wrapped in shaded roads and wide pedestrian walkways. The blocks of shop known as Taman Danau Desa, just a 10-minute walk from The Hipster, is an especially popular destination with foodies throughout the day or night.

Being a mature area surrounded by historic locales such as Old Klang Road and the World War 2-era Sempang Airport in neighbouring Sungai Besi, rail stations are only to be found beyond the limits of the Taman Desa neighbourhood. There are four KTM train stations located within close proximity of Taman Desa (Seputeh, Salak Selatan, Pantai Dalam, and Angkasapuri), making commutes across the entire Klang Valley public transportation network possible with a short drive or bus ride.
