Atrio @ Lang Valley is a commercial development in the 250-acre Lang Valley commercial precinct in Ipoh, just off the North-South Expressway (NSE). The development, which was officially launched in 2013, can be reached directly via an interchange situated between the Jalan Kuala Kangsar and Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah exits. As its name suggests, the development's defining feature is its pedestrian-only atrium, measuring 200 feet in length and 40 feet in width. The atrium is sheltered and naturally ventilated with a high ceiling, giving visitors a comfortable alfresco experience while they shop at the bazaars or attend the events held here. As Atrio and Lang Valley as a whole are near to the mountains of Gunung Lang and its recreational forest, the development’s environment is considerably fresh and cooling. Buyers can choose from Atrio's 72 units of 20' by 85' 3-storey and 4-storey leasehold shops. Many of these shops have glazed frontages and face the NSE for excellent visibility. Increasing its desirability, the units all have high-speed broadband, to cater for today's hi-tech business operations. Other than its proximity to the NSE, Atrio is positioned within a reasonable driving distance to well-populated middle- and upper-middle class neighbourhoods in Ipoh like Taman Ipoh Selatan, Taman Ipoh Timur, Taman Ipoh, Greentown, Bercham and Tambun. The Ipoh city centre is about 5 minutes away from Atrio. Also contributing to the demand for units here are additional projects within the Atrio's @ Lang Valley development, including a hotel, car showrooms and an anchor retail tenant.
