Bandar Sungai Long is home to the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, since 2021. This township is nestled in Kajang amidst nature’s splendour.

Formerly a rubber plantation, Bandar Sungai Long grew from 511.4 acres to about 690 acres as it developed over the years into an established township today. The neighbourhood has a distinctive appearance thanks to the Tunku Abdul Rahman University (UTAR) campus, low-density high rises, and many buildings built with raw bricks.

When UTAR relocated here in 2015, property values and rental demand were boosted in Bandar Sungai Long. Thanks to that, the township enjoyed rapid growth over the years. The area evolved into a robust university town with a large student population. Many buyers invest in this area to rent out to students as there is always a steady flow of readily available tenants.

The early phases of development consist of landed residential properties. Soon after, a variety of low to high density projects began sprouting all over the township. Few of the commercial areas here have also been growing well over the years.

You have all the amenities you need here. The most notable one is the Sungai Long Golf & Country Club, an 18-hole golf course designed by world-famous golf master,  Jack Nicklaus. It is surrounded by luxurious homes. Other amenities within reach include BMC Mall, Sungai Long Specialist Hospital, and Columbia Asia Hospital (Cheras) for your shopping and healthcare needs. The educational institutions besides UTAR include SJK(C) Bandar Sungai Long and SMK Bandar Baru Sungai Long.

Bandar Sungai Long is accessible via Cheras-Kajang Expressway, Kajang Dispersal Link Expressway, Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway and Middle Ring Road 2
