Shah Alam, Selangor

Neighbourhood Review

Alam Impian is a township in Shah Alam, Selangor where potential residents may choose units that come from a wide variety of designs and layouts to live in. Alam Impian is also designed to house an estimated population of 50,000 people upon completion.

One of the unique attractions of Alam Impian’s is the development’s emphasis on art such as installation of art pieces, having graffiti walls, an art gallery, linear parks, an amphitheatre, street art and a 31-acre central town park.

The prices of properties in this area has seen a steady rise over the years and it has been purported that there are plans to build a hypermarket within its premises. As there are several phases yet to be launched, Alam Impian is a growing township with ample of opportunities for those seeking to invest and for those looking for a home.

Although highly popular for its secluded and serene location connected directly by the LKSA Highway, there was a not widely known controversial issue where many of the Chinese race suddenly decided to move out of Alam Impian when a fairly large mosque was built within the development. According to the residents who sold their homes rather suddenly, they were never informed of the plans to build the place of worship within the housing development.

Capital appreciation on these properties were however massive, especially after the completion of the LKSA Highway, where a resident who bought his house for below RM400,000 during the development stage managed to sell it for above a million ringgit less than six years later.

Just bought a house here. It's at the border of Klang and Shah Alam, near Kota Kemuning. It's a new developing area. They will be developing more schools, shopping complex, hospital and other amenities soon, so there's be potential for growth. Easy access to Klang,... See More
