Flora Damansara is in all likelihood one of the most talked about condominiums in Damansara Perdana for all for the wrong reasons, despite being located in a good and central location. Its workmanship is said to be extremely shoddy, with most of the tenants being of the lower income group; hence house break-ins and thievery seem to be common. To add to this insecurity, the workmanship of the building is inferior and there have been cases of water and electricity being cut due to the management running away with the money. In addition to these already considerable terrors, this city centre high rise seems to be one of the most haunted residential areas in the city. Purported to be built on a former “orang asli” cemetery, blocks E and F of Flora Damansara is said to have ghost sightings after 11pm. Another family claimed that on the first two days they moved in, there was long hair wrapped around their cactus plant, whereby all their family members have short hair. As most of the tenants are migrants and of the very much lower income group, it is said that there have been fights as well, where the shrieking got to unbearable decibels where a fight between a husband and wife ended in suicide by jumping from a high floor to the carpark below. There are many other cases of terror at this condominium scattered online, and total and thorough research is recommended before purchasing a unit at Flora Damansara, whether for own stay, investment or ghost hunting expeditions.
