You can kiss the long wait for your new home goodbye, thanks to RHB Bank’s latest initiative.

RHB Bank launched two digital solutions on the 8th of November; the RHB MyHome app and Banking-at-Your-Doorstep service, which will be the game changer for property financing and the banking scenes in years to come.

The smartphone application, being the first of its kind in Malaysia, will assist users in home financing, submitting documents online, and to checking their application status within a span of a remarkably short time. The app, available on Google Play and Apple App Store, also enables customers to gain access to information on financing options, pricing, eligibility and rates. With the app, a process that usually takes up to a week can be completed in less than 48 hours.

Meanwhile, the Banking-at-Your-Doorstep service caters to new applicants of the RHB Smart Account and Smart Account-i. New users who opened their account online can activate their accounts and have their debit cards ready without having to leave home. This service will send a rider to the user, and the application procedures will be done on the spot at the meeting point set out by the user. The service currently serves the Klang Valley and will be rolling out to other states in a few months.

The two services serve to bridge the gap between consumer and financial service provider, and to provide convenience to what could be a very tedious experience. Oftentimes users lament that it is a hassle to settle their banking needs, and RHB has came up with a solution to lessen the burden.

“Customers are constantly demanding services that are simple and convenient. Our services aim to deliver seamless and fast banking experience to them”, said Yang Bahagia Dato’ Khairusalleh Ramli, Group Managing Director of the RHB Banking Group, who was present to launch the services.

He also added, “The two services will take us a step closer towards achieving our digital aspirations and enhance our digital capabilities across all distribution channels, allowing us to be more responsive to the needs of our customers with a faster turnaround time.”

Hmmm, it still doesn't help with the approval rate right? The main problem is many cannot get loan approved, no?

If your credit score is not in the Green Zone, the approval rate should stay the same.

Looking forward for faster processing for approvals,  and also for rejects.
