OVERVIEW

Kanglian Development Sdn Bhd has come a long way ever since it started off as a Class F sub contractor for the Public Works Department (Jabatan Kerja Raya) in 1969. The company, which was renamed Kanglian Development in 1980, has turned into a full-fledge developer, when it started its first project Taman Orkid in Tapah. Over the last 50 years, it has continuously carried out various housing and commercial projects in Lower Perak. Today, it has become a well-established household name in Tapah, Bidor, Langkap and Teluk Intan. One of the notable successes the developer has achieved is the residential project in Taman Bunga Raya, which has been built extensively from Phase 1 to Phase 9, in Tapah. It also takes pride in its projects in Bidor Business Centre, Teluk Intan Industrial Park and plantations under FELDA, RISDA and FELCRA. Upon completion, the premises and business lots have received tremendous response from property buyers and were all sold out.

FUTURE PROJECT

On future projects, Kanglian Development Sdn Bhd has envisioned a greater expansion in Taman Bunga Raya in Tapah. The Phase 10A and 10B, Phase 11 and Phase 12 housing development projects are expected to commence within the next one or two years. The developer has also set its eyes on developing a gated and guarded community project near Jalan Dr Nazrin Shah (Jalan Gopeng) in Ipoh. Its foray into property development in the capital of the state is aimed at bringing high quality services and products to a new potential market. The houses, which set amid a lush natural landscape and nestled in a scenic area, are about 3km away from Ipoh Town Centre. Residents can also indulge themselves in modern facilities such as a club house and jogging track in the lap of nature.
