Section 17 is a large area in Petaling Jaya, which touts a large housing development, wet market and plenty of restaurants which offer very good food at affordable prices. While the homes in Section 17 can range to the millions, it is an affordable place to rent for students of the nearby universities.

Accessibility to this area is also fantastic, as the LDP and NKVE is within minutes of the area on congestion-free roads during off peak hours, while the Tropicana Shopping Mall is less than 5 minutes away by car.

Also popular in this area are the street food, which only opens during dinner hours. There is even a Shell petrol station within the neighbourhood, giving the residents a full range of amenities within minutes of their homes.

Traffic jam during peak hours,there is no direct bus to KL city,people simply litter along the road, people like to park infront of house and block entrance.

I love this neighbourhood as it's practically in the middle of everywhere! Best of all, there are many food outlets, malls, cinemas, bars, night market, etc. nearby. Probably the only downside is the lack of security.
