Ampang Hilir is known to be one of the more centrally located districts in Kuala Lumpur, and Ampang 971 is one of the residential developments located here that was built and targeted towards the higher income bracket earners.

While targeted towards the upmarket, there have been rumours in the market on the grouses of residents of Ampang 971, which includes a lack of good maintenance on the facilities and landscaping, while the playground is purported to not be very child-friendly with its slippery grounds.

Expats are also said to avoid Ampang 971, due to the location of high tension cables that is situated a mere 50 metres away from the development, although many locals do not mind as they are perhaps ignorant or nonchalant about the effects of living near high tension cables.

I enjoy living here in this prime area lovely place to live it takes me minutes to all the malls nearby without stuck in one road... this isnt like LDP OR MRR2 traffic. ITS 2018 THERE ARE MANY NEW ROUTE TO AVOID TRAFFIC IN JALAN AMPANG AND PEOPLE SAY INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL GOT EXTRA TRAFFIC NOW? NO! ISKL IS HUGE AND VEHICLES ENTER THE SCHOOL COMPOUND TO PICK UP STUDENTS... SO NO WORRIES..
Jalan ampang, jalan ampang hilir gives access to two roads , one heading to ampang point and the other one heading towards jalan desa pandan as well as u-thant and the famous kg pandan rounda bout.. where got traffic jam??? I AM STILL LEAVING TO WORK DURING PEAK AND REACH ON TIME... ITS ALL IN YOUR MIND... SO FELLOW AMPANG 971 LOVERS TRUST ME TRY IT OUT... LOVELY PLACE TO LIVE... THUMBS UP! CHEERS.
