The homes of Emerald East are complemented with a peaceful environment and scenic landscapes where residents can relax and unwind. However, in 2011, residents have complained about several break-ins that occurred in the area due to the lackadaisical behaviour of the security guards. Thankfully, by 2014, there were no more incidents of such occurring.
