Taman Desa Utama is a suburban township located in Klang amongst other townships such as Taman Klang Jaya, Bandar Bukit Tinggi 1, and Taman Desawan. Despite being an independent town with many amenities and well-connected highways, Klang has always made headlines for the wrong reasons.
Residents have reason to fear for their safety as Klang has always had a high crime rate. In spite of installing CCTVs near park areas, the criminals are not deterred as petty crimes are still committed in broad daylight. Residents have urged the authorities to step up in their efforts and come up with tougher measures.
