Bangunan Merdeka View is a high rise development located at Jalan Choo Cheng Khay in Pudu near the Merdeka View and the fire station headquarters, and was previously known as Bangunan Choo Cheng Khay. Its strategic location near the Golden Triangle places it in the midst of many major shopping centres, commercial buildings, and even the famous Petaling Street is within a short distance. Residents on the higher floors can enjoy the panoramic view of the National Palace and the city centre skyline.

Bangunan Choo Cheng Khay has been refurbished, including a new coat of paint and security has been improved upon as well. With a change of management, the prices of this apartment has been increasing in the market. Yet, there are still complaints from the residents regarding the presence of foreign workers making a lot of noise in the corridors. There have also been rumours of prostitution activities in the building and some of the units being haunted but there were no evidence of this.
