Residents living in Taman Cantik are blessed with an environment that is surrounded by lush greenery. However, in June 2011, a solid waste operator has been using a piece of land owned by the KL City Hall as an illegal dump site, which caused residents to lodge complaints and signed a petition to demand that the illegal dump site be permanently closed.

Used to have some robbery cases around the area but did not hear such news after security guard is stationed
Traffic within the taman is not bad. Problem is getting into the taman through Jalan Cheras
