Taman Segar Perdana is a housing development next to Taman Bukit Hatamas, Taman Bukit Segar, and Taman Cheras Awana in Cheras. It is home to many landed properties, which have since adopted the gated-and-guarded security system in 2008, as well as a low-cost, low rise properties.
The landed properties are spacious enough to cater to medium to large families, while the low rise properties are more suited for smaller families or individual tenants. True to its name, the area enjoys fresh, cool air from the Bukit Sungai Putih Sungai forest reserve behind it. However, traffic congestion is well-known among the residents especially during rush hour, which is made worse because of the massive development that is taking place within the area.
