Monte Bayu is a high density towering development located on the hill slope of Kampung Cheras Baru in Cheras. The surrounding of Monte Bayu is made up of panoramic views of the Kuala Lumpur city centre skyline on one side, and the green and unspoiled scenery of the Bukit Sungai Putih Forest Reserve on the other where residents of Monte Bayu can enjoy the fresh cool air emanating from the forest.
However, as Monte Bayu is built on the slope of a hill, there is a risk of landslides occurring. Also added to the fear is that Talam was believed to be the original developer of this property before IJM Land took over, where Talam was responsible for the piling and earthworks of the condominium. Although IJM will do a superb job on everything else, potential buyers are more worried about the foundation work not holding up well on the slopes of the hills.
