Tropicana City Tropics is the residential component of Tropicana City Mall, an upscale mall dedicated to the residents of Petaling Jaya. Although it is amongst the pioneers of mixed developments to have direct access to a shopping mall, units here have purportedly not fared so well due the design of the units that many are uncomfortable with.

Nevertheless, these units that are not family friendly are definitely bachelor friendly, and many renters find this location highly convenient in terms of commuting to work as well as in terms of after work entertainment at the mall.
