Residency @ Cendana is a gated and guarded neighbourhood comprising a selection of residential homes and commercial titles in Juru, Penang. Completed in 2012, the residential phases comprise of bungalow and semi-detached homes while the commercial units are also of the semi-detached and bungalow types.
The homes within Residency @ Cendana are contemporarily designed with clean, sleek lines, floor to ceiling windows and large balconies for residents to savour the surrounding nature. Some units even feature their own rooftop gardens. There are 5 variants of the bungalows, namely Arden, Bago, Cacela, Dove and Java which range from built-up spaces of 1,402 sf to 1,938 sf.
Both Arden and Bago are 1,402 sf in built-up size, with 4+1 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, the difference is that Arden is double-storey while Bago is 2.5 storeys, with a rooftop garden taking up the additional half a floor. Cacela is the largest variant of the bungalows, at 1,938 sf. The 3-storey Cacela offers 5+1 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms while Dove is also 3 storeys in height, with 5+1 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, at 1,590 sf. Both also have rooftop gardens. Java units are 2 storeys, with 4 rooms and 5 bathrooms in 1,736 sf of built-up space.
There is only 1 layout choice for the semi-detached homes, which is the Autumn & Spring type. All semi-detached units are 2 storeys in height, with 2,652 sf of built-up space. Though these homes do not come with rooftop gardens like most of the bungalows, residents can enjoy the outdoors in the privacy of their own spacious garden. Both bungalows and semi-detached homes feature wide porches able to park 3 cars.
Residents of Residency @ Cendana will have access to a myriad of amenities, which include a clubhouse, an infinity pool, wading pool, jacuzzi, sauna, both indoor and outdoor gymnasiums, barbecue area, function and reading room, a wifi-ready lounge as well as a 3 Concept Garden. There is also a garden walkway where residents can take a walk, rest assured of their safety in the fenced neighbourhood.
Established in the matured town of Juru, amenities are within convenient reach of Residency @ Cendana. There are countless commercial hubs and shop lots within the vicinities of the neighbourhood where convenience stores, mini markets, eateries, restaurants, clinics, pharmacies, a post office and more can be found. SK Juru is the nearest school, being just under 5 minutes’ drive away.
Accessibility is a strong point for Residency @ Cendana, with the Juru Toll Plaza heading onto the North-South Expressway (NSE) being about 10 minutes away via Jalan Perusahaan. The same route also leads to Juru Auto-City where restaurants, banks and more amenities are located. With that, the first Penang bridge is under 15 minutes away via the NSE from the neighbourhood. Other major roads in the area include Jalan Juru and Jala Bukit Tengah.
