Kepong Ulu is a small and quaint town located on the outskirts of the city in Kepong, boasting a very quiet and tranquil environment surrounded by nature. It is a town that is popular with tourists for the existence of the Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) in the area. Public transportation in Kepong Ulu is however quite scarce, and there have been many complaints from residents in the past regarding air pollution from the factories in the area.
