Alam Mutiara has long been an abandoned project for many years now, with the development supposed to be completed in 2002. The residents who lived here eventually sold the land to the developers after being promised that the land would be developed. Unfortunately it was not, and the project is now recognised as an abandoned development and is being carefully monitored by the Selangor government.
