City Mall is a hip and new concept mall, located at Tanjung Tokong, Penang. Part of the mixed development by Ivory Properties Group, it is situated below the much anticipated City Residence. The entire development's completion date is expected to be in 2017.

Space will be limited with high exclusivity at City Mall as there are only 23 units of retail shops available. Each unit will stand at 3-storeys tall with built-up areas that range all the way from 3,750 sf to 14,200 sf. Selling price for these exclusive units have yet to be released, but the indicative selling price is RM700 psf. Units here will be sold bare, which means the shop owners will be able to give full reign to their creative side for their shop's design.

Some of the highlight features of City Mall will be its tropical styled interior that will involve giant palm trees, landscaped elements and water features. Besides that, it will bear the new age open concept style, ensuring abundant natural light and proper ventilation.

When it comes to accessibility, City Mall is situated close to the capital of Penang, Georgetown; which almost guarantees a regular flow of customers. Access to City Mall will be highly convenient by car owners as it is situated beside Jalan Tanjung Tokong, one of the heaviest travelled roads in Penang. As there are plenty of public transportation and taxis at the main road, this shopping mall will see its fair share of public transportation commuters as well.

To sum up, looking at the strategic location of City Mall and with a condominium built on top, there is potential to see a steady flow of customers in the long run. To invest and sublet the unit may be a good way of earning a passive monthly income.
