Tree Residency is one of the more recent residential developments in Sungai Ara, Penang. Completed in 2013, the neighbourhood consists of 316 terrace homes within an urban community surrounded by landscaped greenery. Tree Residency is the third phase of residences in One Residence, a gated and guarded residential development spanning 100 acres of freehold land.

The homes of Tree Residency come in a great variety of types and sizes, with built-up areas ranging between 2,280 sf to 3,005 sf to suit the needs of all families, whether small or large. The larger unit types are the Corner Duplex units and Twin Villas, which have some garden space, while the Link Duplexes are the common terrace types which do not have their own gardens.

The Corner Duplex is further categorised into the Type 24, Type 26 and Type 26 Limited units. Type 24 offers 2,440 sf of built-up space, with 5+2 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Type 26 is 2,730 sf in built-up size, while the Limited variant is much larger at 3,005 sf. Both have 4+1 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, but the Limited units have much larger land areas and an expansive balcony on the upper floor.

The Twin Villa units are made up of 2 types, which are Type 26 and Type 26 Limited. Both have a similar 4+1 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms layout, but differ in terms of size. Type 26 is 2,730 sf in built-up space while the Limited is 3,005 sf along with much larger land space.

There are also 3 types of Link Duplex homes, which are Type 22, Type 24 and Type 24+10. Type 22 is sized at 2,280 sf in built-up space, with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It is followed by Type 24, which his slightly larger at 2,435 sf with 4+2 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Type 24+10 is the most spacious, at 2,915 sf with a 5+1 bedroom and 4 bathroom layout.

Anchored by a residents-only clubhouse, facilities at Tree Residency are luxurious. The clubhouse features a beautiful outdoor swimming pool half the size of an Olympic one, along with a gymnasium overlooking it. To add, there are also 3 acres of recreational park space where residents can stroll around, or even take daily runs along the jogging track. There is a badminton court as well for some fun family matches.

Tree Residency is also conveniently situated within close reach of amenities. Surrounding the development are commercial hubs, where there is a good choice of restaurants, cafes, eateries, banks, clinics and more. Schools are also aplenty in the area, like the Fairview International School, Straits International School, Sungai Ara Primary School, Chong Cheng Primary School, Min Sin Primary School, and Seri Relau National School. The Penang International Airport is also just minutes away, while more amenities like Queensbay Mall, a Giant hypermarket in Bayan Baru, and Sunshine Square are all not too far off.

Accessibility is also a key feature of Tree Residency, with Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, the Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu Expressway, Jalan Tun Dr. Awang, Jalan Dato Ismail Hashim and Jalan Tun Sardon being within close proximity of the development. The town of Bayan Lepas is just about 5 minutes away while Bayan Baru is even closer. The second Penang bridge is approximately 15 minutes away, as with the first Penang bridge in the other direction. Both Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah and the Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu Expressway also lead to Georgetown, under 30 minutes away.
