Jubilee Courtyard is a new development of townhouses and terraces located in the quiet neighbourhood of Sungai Nibong, Penang. The recently-completed landed homes are a stark contrast to the many older residences in the area. The project consists of just 15 freehold units within a gated and guarded compound.
There are only 2 townhouse units and 13 terraces at Jubilee Courtyard. All units are 3 storeys in height, with open porches (no gates) able to fit 2 cars. Though both types come with 5 bedrooms and 4 bedrooms, they differ in terms of layout and size. The townhouses are 3,110 sf in size while the terraces are 2,392 sf.
There are no facilities offered to residents of Jubilee Courtyard. But in any case, their built-up size and location can be considered the key features of the development. Prices of the freehold homes are still on the moderate side, with the homes being launched at RM788,000. Subsale prices also begin from RM880,000 but are expected to appreciate given their location in Sungai Dua.
Amenities within close range of Jubilee Courtyard include the Super Tanker market and food court, while the nearest school, SMJK Phor Tay is also under 1km from the development. More amenities can also be found along Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah where there are several rows of shop lots. Other schools in Sungai Nibong are Shih Chung Primary (branch) School, Kwang Hwa Primary School, and SMK Sungai Nibong. About 5 minutes’ drive away from Jubilee Court is also Queensbay Mall and the nearby Bayan Bay commercial hub, where amenities like banks, food and beverage outlets, supermarkets and more are available.
Accessibility to and from Jubilee Courtyard is through Jalan Nipah, while other major roads nearby include Jalan Sungai Dua as well as Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah. Lebuhraya Sungai Nibong also links to the Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu Expressway. With that, Bayan Lepas is around 10 minutes away while Batu Maung and the second Penang bridge are also in the area. Northwards along the 2 main routes also lead to towns like Gelugor, Jelutong and the first Penang bridge, all 10 minutes away while Georgetown is about 20 minutes in distance.
