Idaman Lavender is a freehold apartment complex located in Sungai Ara, Penang. It was developed by Koperasi Tunas Muda Sungai Ara Berhad. The project was completed in June 2011.

The 12-storey apartment consists of two apartment blocks with 352 residential units. Each unit has an average built-up space of 750 sf with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

The launching price for each unit is around RM165,000 and since then, the value has increased rapidly to subsale prices of at least RM297,000.

Facilities provided to residents are limited as Idaman Lavender is an intermediate cost residence. Aside from 24-hour security patrol, a community hall is available for residents’ use. Besides that, there is also nursery on the ground floor and a playground. As for Muslim homeowners, there is also a prayer room.

The location of the residence is considerably strategic. Residents of Idaman Lavender can commute peacefully to and from the apartment due to the light traffic congestion in the area. The traffic along Lilitan Sungai Ara is alright, but will get hectic once you reach Jalan Dato Ismail Hashim and Jalan Paya Terubong.

As for amenities, there are several shopping complexes near the residence such as the Bukit Jambul Complex and Sunshine Square. There is also a community market available about 15 minutes from the apartment. If that is not enough, the Bayan Lepas township is less than 2 km away, where a wide variety of amenities are available, such as eateries, banks and minimarts.

The nearest schools within the vicinity are the Chung Hwa Secondary School, SK Seri Relau, SRK Sungai Ara and SRJK(C) Chong Cheng. A police station is about 3 km away while Pantai Mutiara Hospital is less than 2 km away.

Public transport is available in the area. Residents can catch a bus from the bus stop located around a 15 minutes’ walk from Idaman Lavender. To add, the Penang International Airport in Bayan Lepas is also just 6 km away from the property.
