I-Park Apartment is an apartment residence located in Sungai Ara, Penang. Completed in 2013, the residence still appears quite new, with its 16-storey single complex in a well-maintained condition.
I-Park Apartment is also a high-density residence with a total of 534 units housed within. All units are standard, similarly sized at 650 sf with 3 bedrooms and only 1 bathroom. Facilities offered at the residence is basic but sufficient, with parking bays within its compound. Others include a children’s playground, restaurants and a jogging track. 24-hour security is also provided.
The freehold homes at I-Park Apartment were extremely affordable when they were first launched, with prices beginning from just RM42,000. Within several years, prices have skyrocketed, with units for sale on the market beginning from RM195,000. Rental is also above average for units of their size, with rates of RM650 per month.
Amenities are not exactly within walking distance of I-Park Apartment, as most conveniences are some distance away. Nearby amenities requiring a quick drive include SK Bayan Lepas, the Straits International School, SMK Sungai Ara, SRJK(C) Chong Cheng, and SK Mutiara Perdana. Grocery needs can also be met with conveniences like the Sungai Ara and Desa Ria markets nearby while a Giant hypermarket at Bayan Baru is also close by.
Other commercial hubs within vicinity of the property are D’Piazza Mall and Sunshine Square. The Penang International Airport is also under 5 minutes away while the nearest hospital is Hospital Pantai Mutiara.
Situated off Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, I-Park Apartment is accessible to and from other towns on the island via the aforementioned road, with the industrial zone of Bayan Lepas mere minutes from the residence. Other than that, access to the second Penang bridge is approximately 10 minutes away.
The main road of Jalan Dato Ismail Hashim where the apartment is situated along, also leads to the town of Bayan Baru. Other major roads nearby are Jalan Tun Dr. Awang, Jalan Permatang Damar Laut and the Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu Expressway, with Georgetown situated under 30 minutes from the residence.
