Riverville Residences is a medium cost high rise apartment located off the busy and generally congested road of Jalan Klang Lama which is also known as Old Klang Road. Although it is situated in a prime location in the heart of Petaling Jaya with convenient access to both Kuala Lumpur and Bandar Sunway, the location of Riverville Residences itself appears to be quite unappealing.

The access road to Riverville Residences itself is lined on both sides of the road by low cost apartments, while directly outside the development itself are rows upon rows of triple storey shop lots which many are in bad need of a new coat of paint. While the majority of the population in the area are Malaysians, there also appear to be many migrants who live around the area due to the affordability of the homes there.

Prices of the homes at Riverville Residences itself are also on the high side purportedly due to its central location. While it is true that the location itself is convenient, the prices do not appear to justify it with its immediate surroundings being what it is.

Carrying a full range of facilities, residents will have a six-tiered security system to ensure the residents’ safety and prevention of entry to the grounds from undesirable visitors. There will also be a badminton court and basketball training area, two facilities which are scarce in newer developments due to space constrictions. Also available will be a children daycare centre within the grounds and a kitchen garden amongst Riverville Residences’ more unique offerings.

Every home at Riverville Residences is also spaciously built and is very suitable for families. Ranging between 1,116 sf and 3,181 sf, all the units will come with a minimum of three bedrooms. The layouts of the units are also well designed to maximise the space with no odd corners, nooks and crannies.

The majority of Riverville Residences buyers were locals of the area as opposed to investors; perhaps as they are already used to to area and are looking for a home upgrade. In 2013, there was a snatch-theft case which resulted in the death of the victim, and in addition to being an area with high crime rates, Riverville Residences is also located 300 metres away from high tension cables.
