Taman Tropika is a housing development located in the town of Kajang, with the town centre being a mere 15 minutes and the Kuala Lumpur city centre and international airport are 30 minutes away. The development consists mainly of relatively new landed properties of contemporary designs and spacious layouts. Prices for these homes are very reasonable, roughly between RM520,000 and RM950,000. Most of the homes in Taman Tropika are occupied, while the rest on the market are sold either partially or fully furnished.
Taman Tropika is a small housing project that is part of a bigger plan, Kampung Sungai Tangkas. Traffic in the area is usually quite bad during peak hours, especially on Jalan Reko where traffic is at a crawl at best after work hours. Also due to its location, the homes here are excellent choices for long term investments; not just for rent but also as a future permanent home. Renting out is quite easy due to the high influx of students, while buying for one's own stay is also a great idea for those who work in the area.
