Athinahapan is a neighbourhood of landed properties in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, which is also otherwise known as TTDI. It is one of the most coveted neighbourhoods in Kuala Lumpur, located at less than 5 minutes away from the 1 Utama Shopping Centre. The houses here mainly belong to the well-to-do, with a smattering of dignitaries as well. The neighbourhood is extremely quiet and peaceful, while being located just a short drive away from the SPRINT Highway.
There were however much protests from residents of Athinahapan in the year 2014, when a pedestrian bridge was supposed to be built in the area leading to the new TTDI MRT Station. The residents were very much against it, as they feared that it would threaten the safety of their neighbourhood.
