M101˚ SkyWheel is an exciting new development that is to hit the Kuala Lumpur city centre. The development is named after a proposed Ferris Wheel that will be situated on the highest vantage point of the building on the 52nd floor. Its outstanding centrepiece of a Ferris Wheel will stand on top of the building to symbolise the ‘0’ in M101˚. This unusual architecture is to be a tourist attraction according to the developer, although it has drawn many mixed responses from forumers which their reaction lean more toward the ludicrous.

The launch price of M101˚ SkyWheel is at an estimated RM425,000 with many different types of units inclusive of office units, studio apartments and shops. This freehold development will comprise of two 78-storey towers which will also offer a SkyMall that extends from the 48th to 52nd floor offering 200,000 sf of retail space.

Also proposed of this development is Asia’s first Planet Hollywood Hotel. Skewed toward the upmarket, the developer of M101˚ SkyWheel has partnered with Studio F. A. Porsche for its interior designs and luxury suites. Tentatively set at a total of 1511 residential units, the developer has mentioned that the number is unconfirmed.

M101˚ SkyWheel is expected to be completed in the ideal year of 2020. The developers of M101˚ SkyWheel have about 10 other ongoing developments, all in central areas such as Dang Wangi, Bukit Bintang and Jalan Ampang. Situated within he KLCC area, M101˚ SkyWheel will have fantastic frontage views of the Petronas Twin Towers nearby.

With its excellent location, M101˚ SkyWheel will enjoy proximity to the Kuala Lumpur city centre and its many amenities. The Petronas Twin Towers are only about 3 kilometres away from this development, and residents will have an abundance of entertainment centres nearby. Suria KLCC and Pavilion are within 10 minutes of home offering a cacophony of branded goods, as is Fahrenheit 88. Only slightly further away is Berjaya Times Square and Lowyat Plaza which offers the best of electronic choices.

With easy access to Jalan Tun Ismail, Jalan Tun Razak and the SMART Tunnel, residents of M101˚ SkyWheel will also be a stone’s throw from all the other major suburbs of Kuala Lumpur.
