Maju Kuala Lumpur is going to be one of the highest density living quarters in Kuala Lumpur, located within Sungai Besi. It will consist of double-storey serviced apartments and retail podium. It is part of the government’s attempt to build one million affordable homes within five years of the year 2016.
Maju Kuala Lumpur is likened to OUG Parklane, an already extremely high dense development. Maju Kuala Lumpur is said to beat it in terms of density with a total of 4214 units, housed within seven blocks of 39 storeys, of which 29 storeys will comprise of serviced apartment units, while other floors house the retail podium and car park. Each block will have between 505 and 674 units of homes, prompting much musings over how bad the traffic congestion here will be upon the completion of Maju Kuala Lumpur.
There will however be an MRT station reachable via pedestrian bridge in the future. The site of the station was originally approximately 800 metres away with no proper walking path. It was however later announced that there would be another TPM MRT station nearby which the pedestrian bridge will link to.
A typically sized unit at Maju Kuala Lumpur is 882 sf. The homes are built loft style and come with double volume ceilings in the living and dining area to portray spaciousness, and the units come with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom, a utility area and a kitchen. The flooring boasts to be of imported vinyl, with an overall of 11 units of LED lighting. Though parking spaces are available, they come with a monthly fee of RM150 for one unit space or RM250 for two unit spaces. Buyers interested to purchase a unit here can enquire about an easy payment scheme provided by the developer.
Located close to Bukit Jalil, within 5 kilometres of Maju Kuala Lumpur will be Pavilion 2 and Bukit Jalil City, while within a 10-kilometre radius is Aeon Cheras Selatan and IOI Mall Puchong. Major suburbs such as Bandar Sunway and Subang are between 15 kilometres and 25 kilometres away.
