Educational institutions that are nearby include SK and SMK Padang Tembak, which are a 10 minutes' drive away, as well as University Teknologi Malaysia, which is about a 6-minutes drive away. The Haute is also 5 minutes away from 3 Light Rapid Transit (LRT) stations, which are Dato’ Keramat, Jelatek, and Damai.
There are 3 major highways which are easily accessible from The Haute, including the Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2), the Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (DUKE), and the Ampang Elevated Highway (AKLEH). Although these 3 major highways are rather congested most of the time, the amount of public transportation within the area weigh out the option to drive, and is a cheaper way to travel within the city and beyond.
