Taman Sri Bahtera is a matured housing estate located in Cheras opposite Taman Midah and Taman Cheras. Also known as Taman Bukit Mewah, Taman Sri Bahtera is home to many landed and high rise properties, as well as Christian, Hindu, and Muslim cemeteries.
Traffic congestion is common here as connecting roads into the area get backed up during peak hours. In 2013, an anti-crime operations was carried out where nine suspects were detained, resulting in the prevention of two armed robberies in Taman Sri Bahtera and Taman Connaught.
