Eco Meadows is a 59-acre low density development located in Bukit Tambun, on the mainland of Penang. It is gated and guarded, with a 24-hour multi-tier security system. Phase 1, also known as the Northampton Terraces, was launched in 2015 and is estimated to complete in 2018. It offers 375 units and 4 designs of terrace houses built on land plots of either 20 ft x 70 ft (Type 1A and Type 1B) or 22 ft x 70 ft (Type 2A or Type 2B).

Type 1A and Type 2A are built with bay windows, an additional alcove that adds to the interior area, while Type 1B and Type 2B have balconies opening off to the family area. The floors of the foyer, living, dining, kitchen, store, bedrooms, yard, staircase and family hall are all finished in quality porcelain tiles, while kitchen and bathroom walls are tiled either up to 3m high or ceiling height.

Almost a quarter of Eco Meadows' total development space is covered with greenery and waterways. The landscape is designed based on English landscape gardens, with a majestic entrance gateway, colourful parterres (or ornamental flower beds), tea gardens, hedge mazes that originated from Renaissance-era knot gardens, and water canals, making the overall atmosphere of the development one of dignified elegance.

Meadows Town Hall, the stately 8,000 sf clubhouse of Eco Meadows, is also designed with a classical English architecture style in line with the rest of the development. It houses a swimming pool and gymnasium, among other facilities. Within the outdoor grounds of Eco Meadows, there is also an outdoor children playground, half-basketball court and chess court.

Also part of the Eco Meadows development is the Eco Bloom mixed development project – a blend of commercial retail lots and two 33-storey residential towers containing 490 affordable units ranging from 800 sf to 1,100 sf.

The nearest connection from Eco Meadows to the Penang Island is via the Second Penang Bridge, with the toll plaza located about 12km away. Within a 10km radius, residents can reach amenities like the Pearl City Mall, Tesco, AEON Mall Bukit Mertajam, SK Taman Merak, SMK Simpang Ampat, SRJK (C) Keng Koon and the GEMS International School. The North-South Expressway (NSE) is also easily accessible, connecting Eco Meadows to other cities along Peninsular Malaysia’s West Coast.
