Bukit Dumbar is a residential neighbourhood of terraces and semi-detached homes in Gelugor, Penang. The freehold double-storey properties appear to be several decades old and are mostly occupied. The units at Bukit Dumbar are about 2,350 sf in built-up size with rather wide or long car porches able to fit two cars comfortably.

Bukit Dumbar is ideally situated close to a range of amenities. These include a Tesco hypermarket and several commercial hubs like Udini Square and e-Gate. Hence, amenities such as eateries, banks, convenience stores, petrol stations, even a post office and a mosque are within reach of the neighbourhood. Schools are also aplenty in the Gelugor area, like SK Minden Height, SMK Datuk Hj. Mood. Nor Ahmad, SK Bukit Gelugor, and SMK Hamid Khan, among others. Situated just off Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah and the Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu Expressway, Bukit Dumbar enjoys quick access to Georgetown and the first Penang bridge, which are both under 10 minutes from the neighbourhood. Apart from Georgetown, the two also connect Bukit Dumbar to other towns such as Batu Uban, Bayan Baru, and Bayan Lepas down south of the island.

Peaceful environment with garden behind. Matured neighbourhood. Maybe not suitable for investment. Walking distance to 30 mins to Lam Wai Yee Hospital. Only got 1 primary school. Quite convenient to market. Road very small.
