Taman Bukit Erskine at Tanjung Tokong, Penang, is a low to medium cost apartment building that has been completed for a few years. Built to a towering 38 storeys, it houses a significant 554 units. With its location slightly up hill, residents are being able to admire views of the sea or greenery, depending on individual units.

Each unit comes with a built-up area of at least 654 sf comprising of 3 bedrooms and 1+1 bathrooms. Residents of the freehold units also get to make use of standard apartment facilities available in the property, like a parking lot, children’s playground, as well as 24-hour security.

Amenities are also aplenty along nearby Gurney Drive, where there are banks, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, banks, pharmacies, hawker food and entertainment. Taman Bukit Erskine may be a little isolated even though it is reachable. Population-wise, it is still quite low. The primary attribute is its role as a simple and functional home for individuals or small families and its rather convenient location in Tanjung Tokong, though residents who do not have a car may find it a little difficult to reach. From an investment standpoint, Taman Bukit Erskine is reasonable but there may be tough competition from the high saturation of properties available for rent or sale in the area. Hence, emphasis should be placed on taking the time to survey the neighbourhood and the other properties in the area.
